Laguna Windrose Pocket Cruiser/Daysailer with Trailer               $2,995

This boat was donated to a non-profit youth sailing school ( lwsa.org ) by the former owner and is being sold below market price for the benefit of this sailing program. The boat is fully equipped and ready to go.

The Windrose is a surprisingly roomy 18-footer designed by Shad Turner and built by Laguna Yachts. It sails well in a wide range of conditions, and with its 400-pound retractable keel it is very stable in strong winds. With a roomy self-bailing cockpit and four berths below, it can truly be called a daysailer/cruiser.

The retractable keel makes this boat easy to launch, and the hinged mast base allows it to be easily raised by one or two people. No yard fees for launching, hauling or for storage!

When you look at this boat you will think it is almost new. The hull, cockpit and deck are in remarkable shape, as you can see in the pics. The boat has a new, never used mainsail, a never used kick-up rudder, an electric winch to raise and lower the keel, a solar-charger for the battery, and a new battery.  With her upgrades and initial cost, the donor has over $12,000 in the boat!  She bought the boat for her son, but he has now left the nest so she decided to part with it.
