Important COVID Information

 

For the last four seasons, we have worked hard, with great cooperation from our families, to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our kids and staff as well. 

 

For 2024 we have our COVID policies as follows:

 

Mask wearing will now be optional.  Students may wear masks on keelboats or on land if desired.

We are excited to offer afterschool sailing lessons for kids ages 8 - 16.

 

Students from any town are invited to register. 

 

We welcome students of all abilities, from beginner to experienced sailors.  We will divide them up by age and ability when they arrive

​Learn to sail and have some fun on the water!

2024 Schedule

​

Class Schedule:        June 3, 5, 10 and 12

                                     4:00 PM  -  7:00 PM

​

Location:                    Dave Adams Memorial

                                      Sailing Center,

                                     25 Davis Rd., Gilford

​

Fee:                             $125 per student

​

​

​

​

​

​

Classes are taught by nationally certified instructors and are taught in Optimist dinghies, 420 collegiate boats and O'Pen Bic sailing dinghies.  There will be a swim test the first day.  Life jackets are required - the fitted vest style.  Please let us know if you need to borrow one for the program.   Advanced registration is required.

 

Financial assistance is available.  We will not turn anyone away!   Please inquire in confidence for information.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS:   Any new students who participate in the afterschool program will be eligible for a 15% discount if they register for any other LWSA sailing classes this season.  Learn more about our programs here.
