Donate to LWSA

Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted.  LWSA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, so your donations are tax-deductible and go directly to supporting LWSA's good work in the local community. Your donations are what keep LWSA afloat. Donations can be made by credit card or check. Here are a few options:

• Donate to the Capital Fund and ensure maintenance and renewal of the sailing school fleet, classrooms, dock, and moorings - underpinning great summer programs at the sailing school.

• Donate to the Scholarship Fund to help LWSA break down financial barriers so that any young kid can sail next summer.  Each year a number of kids benefit from partial or whole financial aid scholarships for sailing school.

• Donate to Support Sailing Programs, so that the Board can direct funds to the most urgent needs of the program this year and to development of planned programs such as sailing events for physically- or developmentally-challenged members of the community, veterans events, and youth racing development.  If you have a specific area of interest, please let us know.

• Donate or bequeath a legacy from your estate, trust, or foundation to the LWSA Endowment Fund.  If you have a specific area of interest, please let us know (click here to get more information).  We can arrange for you to make a customised restricted donation to benefit only the specific aspect of LWSA that you want to support.  The LWSA Endowment Fund has been established to accept bequests and donations from estates and trusts, managed prudently to enable your support for LWSA to live on for generations of young sailors.
